Note from the Editor
You will notice more changes on the site. To begin with, the Note from the Editor is no longer a separate page, and instead is a brief introduction here on the home page. You will also notice the absence of a couple things. To start with, we will no longer be listing major events. This is because this site is dedicated to the local Las Vegas motorcycle community, and there are many other sites and publications that list major and national events.
Another change you will notice is that the top menu is much smaller. You can still access most of the same content from this page, but the top menu is limited to a few select pages to avoid clutter at the top of the pages on the site. Also, you will notice that this brief commentary is no longer on a separate page, but as an intro to the home page.
We are also making some visual changes to the site and working on making it more mobile friendly. We will also have all events listings accessible from the same page, rather than having separate pages linked to different pages. You simply go to the events page. All of the rides and runs will be listed there. If you want to see bike nights, or weekly events hosted by local MC's who are supporting the site through "sponsored events" listings, there are two links, one for sponsored business events, and one for sponsored club events.
Finally, with the Covid shutdowns finally ending, we are continuing our Biker Barbecues this month. It happens that it falls on Fathers day, so come out for some amazing food from Boss's Slow Smoked Barbecue as well as a "wet t-shirt bike wash" that will donate some of the proceeds to Rider SOS. As always, we will have a $25 bar tab to the best represented club and $5 pitchers of PBR, Rolling Rock, Coors Light, and Hamm's. This has been a popular event with those who have attended, and was growing steadily until our world came to a screeching halt. On a related note, our Motorin' Mondays at Chancla's Cantina are no more. The management of Chancla's has decided to remain closed on Mondays, but we will be doing a monthly Wet T-shirt Bike Wash on the first Saturday of every month from 3 to 6 pm as long as the weather holds out. They are still a very biker friendly venue, and a sponsor of this site, so please contact them if you are looking for a stop for your run or a place to host your event. Stay tuned, and thanks for supporting this site and our sponsors.
